A Love Song

"I Will Show You Love"
sung by Kendall Payne

I will show you love like you’ve never loved before
I will go the distance and back for more if you just say the word

You will come alive again and call the trying times your friend
The pain that you have suffered through will never get the best of you
You will hope in something real that won’t depend on how you feel
When you call my name then I will answer, answer

I am on your side though the wind and waves beat against your faith
You were on my mind when the world was made
Trust in me my child, Trust in me my child

Walk out on the water where you have no control
So scared to death of failure you sacrifice your soul, please let that go

You have climbed an uphill road, You have worn a heavy load
You have cried through endless nights and nearly given up the fight
Watched your dreams like falling stars the heartaches made you who you are
Now looking back you see that I have always been there

Where you gonna hide? Where you gonna hide from Me?
Where you gonna go? Where you gonna go that I can’t see?

I have heard you cry and it breaks my heart for I love you so
I would never lie, this is not the end there is still a hope

I am on your side though the wind and waves beat against your faith
You were on my mind when the world was made
Trust in me my child, Trust in me my child

I first heard this song on one of my favorite television shows, "Grey's Anatomy." I fell in love with it immediately and bought it on iTunes as soon as I could. Having just heard clips of song on the television show, I assumed that the song was about a romantic relationship and was able to relate to it on that level. "I have heard you cry and it breaks my heart for I love you so." Isn't that what it's like you love someone? You hurt when they hurt. You're happy when they're happy? I listened to it again when I found out that I was pregnant and it had another special meaning to me in a parent child relationship. But the more I've listened to it, the more I'm convinced that the parent child relationship in this song is a heavenly one. I think it's about the perfect love our Heavenly Father has for each one of us as his children. It's a song of hope and comfort. It is beautiful and I just wanted to share it.

Tyler's Birthday

Happy Birthday to my Tyler!

I decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. It was on really short notice, but it still turned out pretty great. I kept thinking, "This is really going to be a surprise!!" I guess I wasn't as sneaky as I thought. He guessed it. So he wasn't all that surprised. He was still grateful though and I hope he felt loved. Thanks to all those that came!

Isn't it nice to have a livingroom full of people you love?

I was dressed all nice for the party, but of course, the only pictures of me are when I had changed into pajamas.

Again, happy birthday, Tyler. You are my world and I love you.

Halloween

I know it's a little late...
Happy Halloween!!
Tyler and I didn't do much for Halloween. My goal was to stay at home all day and relax but that didn't happen. I had a really good day though! My friend, Lorna, and I went to lunch and to Babies R Us. I also had the opportunity to put a little bit of sparkle on Tinkerbell Zayaa. She looked like a little doll. Here she is:

I didn't do much for the rest of the day. Poor Tyler had to stay at home with his grumpy pregnant wife on Halloween night. I didn't feel like doing anything. I was really looking forward to handing out candy to the neighborhood kids but when the time came I was in one of those hormone induced bad moods and I couldn't even bring myself to get off of the couch.

I was cheered up, however, by Dan, Choka, Zayaa, Danny, Ariunaa, Shanda, and Kensington stopping by! I just have the cutest nieces and nephews there ever was.

Cute family!

Cat and mouse! I wish that I had put her ears on her for this picture.

Minnie and Mickey Mouse. (Ariunaa and Kyler)

Kitty and kitty! I love this picture.

Raaaaar!!!

Snow Day

I don't like to leave my house when it snows. I would rather just stay inside with some hot chocolate, a big blanket, and enjoy the warmth of my house. Today, on my walk across BYU's campus, I was so grateful that I was outside. The snow was magical today. I felt like I was on the inside of an enchanted snow globe. I hope everyone else has a beautiful snowy day.

I'll try to put some recent pictures on here soon.
