Easter

I know it's a bit late, (it's still March for Pete's sake) but Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and had a chance to reflect on the great gift of life we were given with the gift of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.

What a little doll. Isn't her dress adorable! She's just so cute!

Zayaa was being Aunt Tara. Apparently that's how I always sit. She's so funny.

Googie and Aruinaa. Cute cute.

I Heart Dinosaurs

The day that Ariunaa was born, Mom and I took Zayaa and Danny to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point for the annual Family First night.

This is as far as little Zayaa would go. We tried to take her through the solar system tunnel and she refused. Then she told me that she couldn't go any farther because a dinosaur wold bite her head off.

Brave little Danny was not afraid of the dinosaurs. He loved them. He "Raaar"ed at all the dinosaurs and at all the people.

He even danced on the scale. He weighs 25 pounds.

This was probably his favorite part. He LOVED the fishies.

And then we made a mess with the popcorn.

The day after we went, Danny walked around his house like a dinosaur all day. He loves to "Raar" at everybody. He's so precious. I had a lot of fun! I want to take Danny back there so he can take his time playing in the museum. They have a lot of fun stuff to climb on and play with but we were in such a hurry to get back to Zayaa that we didn't get to enjoy them! We'll go back. Maybe we can convince Auntie Samantha to come with us.

Tide Pool and Marina Isle

Someone asked, "Where are the pictures of YOU?" So here you go - pictures of me. This has been the typical activity of our evenings lately. Those beautiful colors we're painting that bathroom are "tide pool and "marina isle" and I'm loving them.

This is why my neck hurts.

Feels Like Home!

We've been working hard, painting, unpacking, and moving in. Luckily we've had a lot of help. We'd like to say thank you to all of those who have made our lives these past few weeks easier! A special thanks to my Dad for all the work he's put in and for all the support he's given us! Another big thanks for all those who came over on Saturday to help us celebrate. You've all helped make us feel a little more at home!

Shanda and Ashley in our freshly painted bedroom. How do you like the color?

And now there's a bed! Kensington was having some fun with it! She's quite the little doll.

It's like a real room now! It's still missing furniture, curtains, and some other decor. We'll get there and hopefully it will be soon!

Tyler blew up some of my latex gloves for Danny and Zayaa to play with. They were pretty funny with them.

These pictures are a little out of order. Here's Shanda and Kensington keeping us company while we put the finishing touches on the walls.

Our bathroom is painted too! I'm very happy that the green is gone. Now all we have to do is clean it.

What a beautiful light fixture! Thanks, Dad!

Zayaa asked her Papa if she could wear gloves like him. So he helped her put on some of my gloves.

She loved them.

There are dishes in the cabinets! Jeff says they look like Disneyland. I like that.

Dad works like the Energizer Bunny.

Tyler, getting ready to spackle the kitchen. Do you see my beautiful Valentine's Day flowers in the background? He's sure a keeper!

That is how our dvd collection sat for a few days until they were put into a big sack that sat in the very same spot.

It's coming together!
